Jet Peel Hydrodermabrasion

This is a fairly new alternative treatment to microdermabrasion, where water and vitamins are sprayed over skin at supersonic speed, sloughing off dead cells giving deep hydration. The Jet Peel is an all natural, virtually painless skin treatment procedure that dramatically improves the appearance and texture of your skin. Jet Peel treatments are highly effective in skin texture improvement, wrinkle reduction, removal of unwanted pigmentation and overall skin rejuvenation. It is also very useful with acne, blackheads and other comedone eruptions as it quickly and effortlessly removes them without any pain or discomfort.Thisworks simultaneously on five different levels at once:

· Deep Cleanses

· Exfoliates

· Hydrates

· Oxygenates

· Micro-circulates the treated area

The system uses a specially designed, patented handpiece to create a supersonic two-phase jet consisting of micro droplets of saline solution and gas, either air or oxygen. The supersonic stream accelerates the droplets' velocity to up to 200m/sec. When the very small, fast-moving droplets from the jet stream strike the skin, the kinetic energy of the droplets peel off the outer layers of the skin. In our clinic, this treatment is combined with diamond peel microdermabrasion for a more visible result.

  1. How much does a session cost. What's the difference between diamond peel and this?

  2. A session costs 1,500 but we do have discount on weekdays (mon to fri). Actually, the idea behind this is same with the diamond peel, that is, to gently abrade dead surface skin cells. But they only just differ in the medium used and the treatment outcome that patient experiences after the procedure. The jet peel is better tolerated since there were no redness as seen in diamond peeling and skin is cooled and refreshed after the session, unlike with diamond peel wherein patient may experience transient warmth feeling and stinging of the skin due to the friction created by the diamond wand after the treatment.

  5. Hi to anonymous (dated july 15): If we can check if you are amenable for this procedure. When you say active pimples, is it really reddish with cystic component? how many are the active ones? If we are only dealing with a few active ones (lets say 3 to 5 lesions at most), then you can proceed with the treatment. Im handling all the pricking and extraction in our clinic. I just dont let a trained facialist do it thus I can guarantee you are in good hands.
